A company with global experience has been selected to prepare a business case for the redevelopment of ANZAC House, headquarters of RSLWA
The business case, once completed, will go to the State Government for approval and formalisation of the transfer of the freehold title for the 1300sqm block to RSLWA
On December 3, 2015, the Board of RSLWA chose APP Corporation Pty Ltd on the recommendation of the Finance and Compliance Committee.
APP will complete its six-month study before the State Congress on 18 June 2016.
APP has offices throughout Australia and has prepared development business cases for a variety of public and private organisations. The company was established in 1989 and employs more that 400 staff. It was voted in the Top 10 Project Managers globally in a survey by World Architecture Magazine.
The company has been involved in development of the East Perth Power Station Precinct, Rockingham City Centre and new warehouse facilities for the non-profit Foodbank Organisation.
In the meantime, the derelict air conditioning system at ANZAC House has been extensively refurbished this month to meet Australian Building Code Standards. The current gas system was becoming obsolete. Two 92kw compressors and other equipment were replaced in the plant room.
